That worked as a volume machine. It did not leave many people who still post now. The problem is not “too little shouting.” The problem is that useful explanations, demos, and on-chain proof are rare, while cashtag posts are cheap. Nexa now has something 2023 did not: AI-assisted development / Nexa AI Skills and a starter app that a non-developer can actually run. This pilot pays for that kind of output — not for tagging five friends. ## What Nexa Signal is A weekly, public contest with a small community pot. Each week, anyone can submit max 2 entries in one of four tracks: - Explain — thread or short article on one real Nexa feature (Tailstorm, native tokens, fees, UTXO, fair launch, wallets). Link a checkable source on Nexa website or forum. - Build — tiny app or script using Nexa AI Skills + the official starter app. Repo or screenshots + how to reproduce. - Use — real action on Nexa (PayDeck, NiftyArt, Otoplo, Wally, token, POS, tip). Explorer / txid. Wrong-chain posts (Solana “$NEXA”, car dealerships, mining stock NEXA) score zero. ## Week 1 challenge (locked in) Explain Tailstorm in 8–12 posts (or one short article). Must include: 1. What changes for a normal user (confirmation time / subblocks) 2. What does not change (still PoW, still UTXO) 3. A link to the September 2026 node / Tailstorm forum update 4. One sentence on why this is different from “just another L1 pitch” Build / Use / Translate entries are also allowed in week 1. Week 2 preview: Prompt-to-Proof — use Nexa AI Skills to build a simple tip jar and show a mainnet or testnet tx. Factual about Nexa? Can a beginner verify it? Anything new vs last week? Optional AI pre-check, advisory only. Tie-break if reviewers differ by more than 2 points. - 30 Reach — engagement, logged so large accounts cannot sweep the pot. Formula: min(30, 6 × log10(1 + impressions\_or\_likes)). Metric announced before week 1 (impressions screenshot, otherwise likes + replies + reposts). - 30 Proof — on-chain tx, working repo/demo, or primary-source link. No proof → this component is 0. Disqualifiers (score = 0): cashtag-only / “wen moon”; copy-paste; bot farms / throwaway accounts; claiming this is official; giveaway farming as the whole post. Caps: max 2 entries per account per week. Account older than 90 days or visible Nexa history. Ranking Saturday 18:00 UTC. Payouts Sunday after a 48-hour protest window. Streak: valid entry 3 weeks in a row → extra share from a 10% streak slice of that week’s pot. ## Prize pool - Minimum to start: 1 billion NEXA - Target pot: 2 billion NEXA - Campaign wallet: nexa:nqtsq5g53kp6svejz9mj6ucj7le2s9hpxx0fzg9293hjytnr - Signers: Lenn Treve + \ __\_ + \__ \_ (2-of-3 if we get three people) This wallet is only for this pilot. It is not the official Nexa donation address. Weekly split: 50% / 30% / 20% for 1st / 2nd / 3rd, plus 10% of the week pot for streak winners (rolls over if none). If fewer than 5 valid entries in a week, we still pay top places and say the week was thin. No fake volume. Incoming donations and payouts will be posted in this thread (txid). ## How to enter (every week) Reply in this thread with: 1. Track: Explain / Build / Use / Translate 2. Link to the X post, article, repo, or demo 3. Nexa address for payout 4. Proof (txid, repo, or source link) 5. Two r@NexaMoneyviewers — ~30 min@NexaMoneytes on Saturday. 2. Donations into the wallet above until we hit the minimum. 3. No fake official branding. Quote this thread; do not say “Nexa team launched…”. 4. From the team, only if they want it: a retweet of the weekly winner, or a 15-minute BONFire slot to demo a Build winner. Not required to start. ## What success is (after 4 weeks) We keep going only if most of these are true: - At least 8 valid entries per week by week 4 - Some on-chain or repo proofs, not only threads - Some 2023-era posters come back and stay after week 2 - This thread stays readable If we only get impressions and no proofs, the pilot ends.
