Bringing Nexa to the BoxWallet Ecosystem :package::gem_stone:

Hey Nexa Community!

I’m the developer of BoxWallet, and I’m currently selecting high-quality Layer 1 projects to integrate into our new multi-coin node management platform. I’d love to see Nexa join our community.

What is BoxWallet?

It’s a self-hosted, non-custodial web dashboard that acts as an automated node manager.

One-Click Onboarding: It removes the friction of running a node. BoxWallet automatically downloads and installs the official Nexa Core binaries for the user.

Breathe New Life into Old Tech: BoxWallet is multi-platform. You can install it on a Raspberry Pi, a spare laptop you want to make useful again, or your daily Windows, Mac, or Linux machine.

New Exposure: Every user of the platform sees Nexa as a supported, premium L1 option. It’s the easiest way for users from other ecosystems to discover and support your network.

Mobile Control: Monitor your node health and rewards from a phone or laptop browser anywhere on your local network, while keeping 100% control of your private keys.

The “Progressive Integration” Roadmap:

As a solo developer, I prioritise my time based on community backing. We’ll move through three clear milestones to get Nexa fully live:

:triangular_flag: Stage 1: Visibility & Onboarding (300M NEXA)

The coin is added to the BoxWallet UI as a choice. BoxWallet handles the automated download and installation of the official Nerva binaries for the user.

:gear: Stage 2: Node Control & Synchronisation (325M NEXA)

Users can monitor network synchronisation status and have full control to start and stop the node directly from the web dashboard.

:money_bag: Stage 3: Full Wallet Utility (350M NEXA)

The “Final Form.” Full integration for monitoring and sending or receiving transactions through the BoxWallet UI.

Nexa & BoxWallet: A Strategy Update

Hey Nexa Community,

I’m back with an update on the integration progress. After reviewing the initial support and considering the fact that Nexa was already partially crowdfunded for the CLI version, I’ve decided to adjust our roadmap to better honor that existing momentum.

Instead of waiting for the full Phase 1 goal to be met before moving the needle, we are going to complete Phase 1 immediately and shift our focus to the next major hurdle.

What’s Changing?

  • Phase 1 is a “Go”: Because of the foundational work already done for the CLI, I am committing to finishing the Visibility & Onboarding stage (UI inclusion and automated binary installation) now.

  • Active Crowdfund for Stage 2: Our fundraising efforts are now officially shifting toward Stage 2: Node Control & Synchronisation. This is where the dashboard truly comes to life, allowing you to start, stop, and monitor your Nexa node health in real-time.

Why this matters:

This approach gets Nexa into the BoxWallet interface faster. By the time we hit the Stage 2 goal, users won’t just see Nexa as an option—they’ll have a functional, web-based control center for their nodes.

We’re building on the work the community has already supported, ensuring that every NEXA contributed previously helps us reach the finish line sooner.
