Nexa & BoxWallet: A Strategy Update
Hey Nexa Community,
I’m back with an update on the integration progress. After reviewing the initial support and considering the fact that Nexa was already partially crowdfunded for the CLI version, I’ve decided to adjust our roadmap to better honor that existing momentum.
Instead of waiting for the full Phase 1 goal to be met before moving the needle, we are going to complete Phase 1 immediately and shift our focus to the next major hurdle.
What’s Changing?

Phase 1 is a “Go”: Because of the foundational work already done for the CLI, I am committing to finishing the Visibility & Onboarding stage (UI inclusion and automated binary installation) now.

Active Crowdfund for Stage 2: Our fundraising efforts are now officially shifting toward Stage 2: Node Control & Synchronisation. This is where the dashboard truly comes to life, allowing you to start, stop, and monitor your Nexa node health in real-time.

Why this matters:
This approach gets Nexa into the BoxWallet interface faster. By the time we hit the Stage 2 goal, users won’t just see Nexa as an option—they’ll have a functional, web-based control center for their nodes.
We’re building on the work the community has already supported, ensuring that every NEXA contributed previously helps us reach the finish line sooner.
