Nexa April Highlights: The First Halving

Over the past couple of weeks, an open trading event has been ongoing in partnership with Origami, with a prize pool of 6,5B NEX to be shared among traders. Also, a new version of Rostrum 14.0.0 has been released with many improvements and an upgraded database layout.

The main upcoming blockchain event is the coming Nexa halving in 12 days. Block rewards will be reduced by half, happening approximately on 1 May 2026.

Nexa x Origami: Trading Competition

The Nexa team is excited to share the first Nexa trading competition on Origami with the community. This event started on 30 March 2026 at 12:00 UTC and ends on 20 April 2026 at 12:00 UTC. The prize pool for the Nexa competition is 6,500,000,000 NEX, to be distributed among the top traders. The competition is still open, and all the information is in the link below.

Rostrum: New Release 14.0.0

The team is also delighted to introduce the new Rostrum 14.0.0 release. In this upgraded version, you’ll find a new database layout along with a switch to postcard serialization, and more updates. If you use Rostrum, the index must be rebuilt. Please find more details in the Nexa forum or Rostrum GitLab.
