What a great experience and event! The Web3 Amsterdam conference lasted for two days, and it was fantastic! We networked with people and industry-leading companies, made meaningful connections, and shared experiences.
Starting on the main stage, Andrew Stone—our Founder and Lead Developer—introduced NEXA. The event was live-streamed on YouTube (timestamp 1:52:00), and we will have more video content coming out in the coming week. Later, our developer, Jorgen Notland, took the stage to discuss the differences between NexScript and EVM with the audience (timestamp 2:03:10). As we bring scripting and smart contracts to a Bitcoin-family protocol (UTXO - Unspent Transaction Output), people were eager to learn how this is possible. We had many discussions about this topic at our booth later on.
Following a panel on the second stage, Nexa President Andrew Clifford and Core Developer Andrea Suisani shared their experiences and insights on another highly relevant industry topic: To fee or not to fee? This question is becoming increasingly important to blockchain users and enthusiasts. Our well-experienced team members—who have more than a decade of experience in crypto and even more in financial markets—had valuable insights to share. Their discussion attracted another wave of people to the Nexa booth. Many visitors shared their excitement about the quality of the discussion, which was a pleasure to hear and a great source of motivation to move forward. Thank you for your continuous support!
We also saw some well-known and respected figures in the industry. It was a pleasure meeting Joel Valenzuela, Justin Bons, and other industry-leading professionals at our Nexa booth. The vibes were fantastic as we brought back the original crypto philosophy to the Netherlands—back to the roots, back to the crypto ethos. Satoshi’s original vision of global peer-to-peer cash is still here—growing stronger all the time.
It was an unforgettable and amazing experience visiting the Netherlands, gathering our team members, and spreading awareness about Nexa. Many people supported us with great feedback, and we truly appreciate it! We will also share some significant moments from the Web3 Amsterdam conference below.
This is just our first recap of the conference. Now, we’re packing our bags and heading back home to bring you more insights and content from Amsterdam in the coming week!
Thank you for your continued support—our commitment is to push Nexa forward through advanced software development and a series of conferences presenting this 3rd generation coin to the global crypto audience. We are all marching forward together!
