One reason that crypto gives people the impression that it is a Ponzi, even when it is not.
Is that people tell others to buy crypto. It makes it look like they are scammers trying to sell a product, which in some cases they are.
However if people would instead sell legal items, products and services for only Bitcoin, Bitcoincash or Nexa and sell them at a discount. It would signal that they themselves want more of that coin and it would require people to get hold of the coin and use it other than just use it as a speculation or saving.
What people need to do if they want a crypto to succeed is to offer unique legal things in exchange for that, or discounts in exchange for the coin.
The first crypto that can foster a community that actually sell legal things that people want, at a discount will probably become the biggest.
But also be the biggest threat to fiat money.
Fiat money is okay with Bitcoin, as a store of value, it only signals that people want more fiat.
But if you want to signal to people that you honestly value you something, you do not tell people to buy it.
It does the opposite, it signals that you want to get rid of it, and instead own fiat.
If people also sell legal things, it will disprove criticts that say it is only useful to buy illegal things.
