Nexa was launched on 21 June 2022, and on 21 June 2026, the team commemorated its 4-year anniversary by organizing Spaces on X with the founder and lead developer, Andrew Stone.
Everyone who participated and listened to the event had a chance to post their Nexa address to receive a commemorative NFT celebrating the occasion.
An NFT Artifact
Everyone who participated already received one of 32 coins forged in the fields of the Nexa blockchain, an artifact of the 4th Nexa anniversary. It’s a limited-edition collectible that also demonstrates the possibilities of Nexa NFTs. These tokens have a public video file, a card front, and a card back representing digital art. Participants who received these tokens can already see them in their wallets, on a block explorer, or by connecting their wallets to the NiftyArt marketplace.

NiftyArt is a token marketplace – a platform where you can create, explore, buy and sell fungible and non-fungible tokens on the Nexa blockchain. It supports a wide variety of data and different formats, and is fully documented in the Nexa specifications. The project is being supported by Bitcoin Unlimited.
To Sum Up
The 4-year anniversary was a milestone that also included the first hard fork and the first Nexa halving, both of which occurred earlier this cycle. Approaching the second hard fork and being in the first year of the second cycle is really exciting.
