The second episode of Build on Nexa, BONFire #2, concluded on 28 January 2026 on the Nexa Discord. This time, Nexa’s Lead Developer, Andrew Stone, joined Ecosystem B2B Lead Shanice and Community Manager Francis to discuss ecosystem initiatives, developer tools, and support. Development Tools
The team reviewed the existing Nexa development tools available to builders. Anyone interested in developing applications can use the Nexa Kotlin Library to easily interact with the blockchain. It is a multi-platform development kit that supports Android, iOS, and desktop applications. Mini-Apps on Nexa
The team is not only building the base layer but also exploring on-chain applications. This showcases use cases for blockchain payments integrated with e-services and micropayments. There is a large, unexplored niche in this sector: one-off digital services.
Midway through the session, Andrew showcased two new mini-apps for the first time, built to demonstrate how Nexa can be integrated into various platforms. These apps highlight simple, real-world uses for Nexa technology, such as enabling game features or supporting digital service payments.
