June is a special month for Nexa, with its 4th Anniversary just a few days away. Nexa blockchain was launched on 21 June 2022 with the goal of maintaining the original vision of electronic cash for the whole planet. On the anniversary day, 21 June 2026 - 8 PM UTC, the team will hold a Spaces on X with Nexa’s founder and lead developer, Andrew Stone, on air.
Earlier this month, Nexa’s solution architect, Steven, joined EvolvH3R to discuss Nexa’s architecture and gaming in the “Moving beyond decentralized gaming with Nexa blockchain” webinar.
The team is happy to highlight community activities in India. The team recently shared the “Nexa Bharat Yatra: Bihar Chapter” event on social media, organized by India and Nepal ambassador Kashish Gupta. Building the future of digital cash in Bihar takes place at The Great Mithila, Madhubani, on 21 June 2026.
Nexa 4-Year Anniversary X Spaces
Time is flying, and the 4th Nexa anniversary is now just a few days away. A lot has happened over the past year, including the first Nexa Halving, conferences and events, and, of course, many developments within the core protocol infrastructure and the ecosystem.

New Release: LibNexaKotlin 0.5.66
The Nexa team is happy to announce the new release of the Nexa Kotlin Library 0.5.66, featuring important fixes and improvements. Several LibNexaKotlin releases have shipped recently, and developers using this library are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version. Work on this major Nexa core wallet infrastructure library is continuing, and the team will deliver more updates in the coming weeks and months.

Beta Testing: Wally Wallet 3.30
New Wally Wallet v3.30.00 has been released, featuring many improvements since the last update. The wallet is in a rapid development phase, and the team invites everyone to participate in the beta test for this new release. Existing users who have enabled testing features in application stores can already update their wallets. Everyone else who would like to test the new TestFlight beta release, please request access in the App Store.

Monthly Development Updates: May 2026
There are many developments to review from May 2026. Still, a lot of attention is being given to preparing for the upcoming hard fork, testing, and cleanup efforts. Tailstorm integration is currently the most critical work, requiring time, patience, and testing. Alongside that, NexScript v1.1.0 was released, along with continued work on LibNexaKotlin and wallet updates, with further developments happening in parallel.
