Nexa Community Event: Announcing the Winner
After a week of open community voting and an outpouring of creativity, the Nexa + NiftyArt event has wrapped up. The winner is Blacktea with their Miner Keeper 2025 collection. Blacktea’s entry secured 39 votes, finishing 8 votes ahead of the runner-up, the Anonymous collection. The final snapshot was taken on 14 July (UTC+0). This collection captured the community’s imagination not only for its visuals but for how it resonated with Nexa’s spirit. Xeggex is Shutting Down and Filing for Insolvency
Important news for the Nexa community: centralized exchange Xeggex, which had listed Nexa, is officially shutting down and entering insolvency proceedings. This development follows a February hack and ongoing operational challenges that ultimately rendered the platform unsustainable. The Xeggex team has stated that further details, including legal and contact information, will be made available in due course.
